I never really thought of a reason to get one, for I already have a macbook, and if I need something on the go, I have an iPhone, which is touch screen.  But I’d probably find ways to make use of of the iPad academically.  I don’t want to buy one if I know I’m only going to play games on it, I have an iPhone for that.  Maybe I can use it for digital drawing, which is something I’ve always wanted to improve, as well as other spiffy apps to help me organize my notes and further enhance my studies.

I don’t know, maybe we’ll see when the iPad 2’s begin to go on clearance when the iPad 3’s come out.  Or yet, let’s see what I decide on my major to be, first.  ;)

But for those who do have iPads, what are your opinions on them?  What makes them so special?  Why do you use them constantly?  How are they beneficial to your everyday lives?
